Launching in the Spring/Summer of 2022, Goodself is on a mission to help people find and deliver relevant and trustworthy Health, Wellness, and Lifestyle information through a first-of-its-kind social media platform. We are building an engaged community of Users that want to get better and can see others like them getting better, along with access to credible information through vetted Experts, across a variety of health topics. We are looking for a Marketing and Communications Manager to help build our community through influencer outreach, community marketing, social media marketing efforts, and overall communications efforts to help us launch and grow our platform. An ideal candidate will be comfortable developing relationships within a community and be skilled in oral and verbal communication.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with influencers to coordinate for launch and post-launch
- Build meaningful relationships with followers and robust social media campaigns while growing positive, engaged social communities
- Lead town hall sessions with the community, to answer questions and sustain relationships
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure marketing and communication need are designed to support the overall vision and tone of the brand
- Conduct client communications, write compelling, error-free documents, emails, presentations and copy for social media
- Monitor and share industry trends, best practices, and emerging digital technologies and platforms.
- Attend and contribute to briefings, research discussions, focus groups, ideation sessions, etc. as required
- Actively contribute to the overall marketing & communications strategy, and work with the leadership team, advisors, consultants, and other team members
- Oversee the tone, voice, and aesthetic of all public-facing Goodself materials and branding
- Write effective and engaging social media copy and manage the development of detailed, ongoing content calendars
- Lead content development processes, including developing engaging communications products (e.g., short video, newsletter, website, social media content, press release, advertisements etc.)
- Work closely with analytics across the company, and the intelligence it provides, to further manage marketing direction
Requirements/Qualifications:
- 2-3 years' experience in Marketing, including aspects of Influencer Marketing, Social Media management, and Digital marketing
- Possess extremely strong presentation skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills, as we work to build our community
- Experience leading with creativity in dynamic situations
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
