Based on questions we’ve received so far from group admins, (such as “How can I share the group?” ,“How do I invite my groups from other platforms”, etc.), we’ve created this guide to help ease the transition process.

🌼 Invite your community to join your group!

Once you’ve set up your group, it’s time to invite your community to join! Sharing can be done within the Goodself app - send out a link to your group or direct others into the app! If there is someone specifically you would like to join your group, send them a DM, email, or text message with a short note explaining your vision for the group, and let them know you’d love to have them be a part of what you’re building (also can be done from within the app)!

• Here’s how to find your invite link for your group: Click the 3 dots beside your group name to share a direct link to your group both internally within the app, or externally (through other apps). You can also let your future group members know that they can find your group by downloading Goodself and searching for your group name in the Explore section of the app!

  

• Share your vision for the group: It's also a good idea to let those you’re inviting know a little bit more about Goodself, and why you're making the move when sharing.

<aside> 💡 Consider start your group by sending a few personalized invites to your close friends and/or most engaged followers to get things started! They can also be your group moderators and help you manage the group by reviewing and approving posts, commenting on discussions, and enforcing the group's rules and guidelines. 💛 Promote Your Group

Social media is a powerful tool for reaching a wider audience and invaluable when growing your community, so don't be afraid to use it to your advantage! You can also collaborate with other groups or experts to expand your reach.

• Add your group's invite link to your social media bios and create a post (or two 😉) on the social media channel of your choice!
• Introduce your group to your followers through TikToks, Instagram posts/stories, tweets, perhaps a LinkedIn post - wherever your group currently resides!
• Use these posts to showcase the benefits of joining your group and encourage people to join the community.
