Yes! You can download your Instagram content to repurpose on Goodself. There are two methods to download your Instagram content, you can do so from your desktop and straight from the mobile app.

1. Desktop: Log into Instagram, then click on your profile icon at the top right-hand corner. From here, click on the following areas to download content: Settings > Privacy and Security > Data Download > Request Download. Once you download the content in ZIP format, extract the data to HTML. You can use the “index.html” file to navigate through all of the data you have downloaded. To find the image/video files you downloaded, head over to the “Media Folder”

2. Mobile app: Click on your profile (bottom right-hand corner) > then the 3-line menu at the top right corner > Select “Your activity” > “Download your information” > input the email you would like to receive the data > then tap “Request Download”. Once you get sent the link from Instagram, scroll down to Content, then the Media Folder (where you will find all the video and image files you have uploaded to Instagram).

Is there a way to (legitimately) download your TikTok videos to repurpose on Goodself without watermarks?

• Most Users are accustomed to seeing the TikTok watermark on re-posted content on other platforms. However, if the video you are looking to upload was filmed on your camera roll – we recommend uploading that rather than a version from the TikTok app. If the video you are looking to upload to Goodself was not saved to your camera roll before uploading on TikTok, a watermark will appear on all downloaded videos. To remove the watermark, alternative strategies that can be used include (however video quality may be reduced):
• Crop the Video or Video Editing: Use your phone's standard editing tools to crop the video and remove the watermark. This method works to remove the watermark; however, it may also cut off key content in the video depending on the placement of the watermark. If you are using more robust video editing software, you may have the capability to remove the watermark as well.

How do people affix music to their Goodself posts? How do you leverage the music that you upload to Goodself from different platforms? What other libraries are there to put music on to your Goodself post?

• While we do not have a music library within the app, you can use websites like pixabay.org, bensound.com or audiolibrary.com.co to obtain audio to affix (each site has their own policies!).
