How can I connect with other Experts?

• On Goodself, Experts clearly stand out and are highlighted, with halos on their profile defining who their peers are, who is an Expert in what category, their title clearly displayed, and more details in their profile around their credentials, background, etc.
• We encourage Experts to connect with one another, within GoodTalks or across the content on the platform. This way, Goodself ****becomes a more collaborative space for Experts to learn from each other and expand their expertise.

How do others know what my area of expertise is?

• On your profile: Your Expert-status profile page contains your name, professional title, education, and a short bio to introduce yourself.
• On the main timeline: Expert profiles will be identified with a halo icon and their professional title, and will be reflected in their posts.

If I have a colleague who wants to join to become an Expert, what should I tell them?

• At Goodself, we hope you believe in spreading wellness as much as we do! Our mission on this platform is to build a healthy community where vetted Experts can make a positive impact.
• You can send them an invite link (top of the feed there’s an icon to invite people) and they can apply once they download and get into the app (they can also choose to apply through Settings). Remind them to put in your name as a referral so you can experience the benefits of the Referral Network Effect (RNE).

When I post, my category is automatically tagged. How do I label my posts?

When posting, we will suggest tags based on your area of Expertise. However, you can use any tag that best fits the post. Tagging outside your area of Expertise may be unfavourably rated due to the potential lack of relevance to the User.

Am I only allowed to post content related to my area of expertise?

• All content that is posted by you as an Expert is labelled with your area of expertise, as well as your title. Content that is not relevant to your area of expertise may be unfavourably rated by Users if not relevant to their needs. As an Expert, you are not restricted to posting content only under your area of expertise but are encouraged to do so.
• We recommend using the suggested hashtags that appear before you post. Doing so will help these posts find their targeted audience.

Can Experts have their account managed by a team?

• Yes! Goodself allows for one account to be logged into by multiple users simultaneously, so you can have your team help manage your profile.
• There are two ways that login info can be shared:
  • When logging in, the host user will need to pass off the verification code sent to their phone number to the alternate User(s), and then the sign-in will be granted.
  • Another option is for the host User to pass off their password to alternate members of the team - as long as the phone number associated with the account has been verified.
